My Girl (Philippine TV series) is an upcoming drama produced by ABS-CBN starring Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Enchong Dee, and Nina Jose to name a few. It is a remake of the SBS Korean drama of the same title which is also shown in the Philippines last May 29, 2006. The series is expected to premiere Summer of 2008 said the teaser of ABS-CBN.

Anyway, it’s official now. Gerald Anderson plays Julian in My Girl Philippine TV series. He plays the love interest of Jasmine in the Pinoy version of the Korean hit drama series My Girl. I’ve seen some few fans of the series disagreed with the choice but I’m sure Gerald Anderson will do just fine.

I’ve seen the video of Kim Chiu when she was selected to play the role of Jasmine. The announcement came as a big surprise for Kim Chiu, the first Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Big winner. She couldn’t hold back her tears when she learned that she had bagged the role during Dream Big Press Conference. Well, I just want to say good luck to both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson!
