Italian, wife latest rob victims in city

An Italian national and his Filipina wife were robbed inside their home Wednesday night in barangay Ubujan, this city by two still unidentified armed men.
This is the latest to the string of robberies reported in the city added to the unsolved killing of Jack Arat, a Bohol Tropics marketing executive.
The victims were identified as Gino Contenobes, 69, and his wife Agnes Patigue, 35, residents of Sitio Doldol, barangay Ubujan.
According to police, the burglars barged into the couple's home around 7:30 p.m.
Both suspects were armed with handguns and wore bonnets to hide their faces.
The robbers took Agnes' bag containing over P20,000 before they fled.
During an interview over dyRD, Agnes said the two robbers were able to enter their residence through a gap in their fence that was ongoing repair.
Police investigators said the suspects could be familiar with the couple's residence which was in a secluded area.
The case is now being followed up the City PNP's Theft and Robbery section.
