Bohol Paradise

Now that we have fully settled in our new home, my husband and I are now finding ways to cut down on our household overhead. You see, it finally dawned on us that our savings really took a beating, especially since we had to spend on a lot of goods and services related to our house move. This is further compounded by the day-to-day expenses of our household and the cost of growing children. But I am not complaining. In fact I consider this an interesting challenge--- a challenge to come up with more creative ways to save.

Right now, what has made it to the top of our list is making our home as green as it could be. We have since switched to led lights, consciously reuse, reduce and recycle, and have been more discerning of our energy consumption.


We are also considering the purchase and installation of a geothermal heat pump. Hopefully, the resulting geothermal heating and cooling solution, will reduce our energy usage. More importantly, it is our small way of giving back to the planet.

I really hope that we can decide which of the geothermal systems available will be most suitable to our family’s needs.
